ADEVEX Deploys Its Anti-Drone Systems in NATO’s Pilot Project 5 in Slovakia

Adevex participated in NATO’s Pilot Project 5 (PP5), held at the Lešť Training Area (Slovakia), where it deployed its advanced electronic warfare capabilities and anti-drone systems in a real-world operational environment alongside the Spanish-led multinational Battle Group.

This project aims to bring technological innovation closer to the warfighter, addressing the need to rapidly integrate solutions into current tactical scenarios—one of the key lessons learned from recent conflicts.

During the exercise, Adevex demonstrated the effectiveness of its technology based on passive detection powered by artificial intelligence, capable of identifying drones—including those operating in non-commercial bands and using frequency hopping—without emitting signals, thereby enabling covert operations on the front lines. Additionally, the system provides precise information on the direction of the threat and allows for subsequent analysis for intelligence purposes.

In the area of neutralization, the company employs selective frequency-band jamming, which significantly improves range, speed, and effectiveness compared to traditional solutions. Among other capabilities, this approach makes it possible to counter swarms of drones operating simultaneously across multiple frequencies.

The system also stands out for its modularity and scalability—adapting to different operational environments and platforms—and for a simple, intuitive interface designed for frontline operators, which facilitates its use in high-intensity scenarios.

Participation in PP5 reinforces Adevex’s position as a provider of innovative solutions in the defense sector and underscores its commitment to developing technologies that meet the real needs of the battlefield.
