Frontex leads the operational testing and validation of Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) technologies in the field. As part of this work, we organised the C-UAS Prize Contest in partnership with the Força Aérea Portuguesa | Portuguese Air Force, who hosted three weeks of intensive trials.
Four innovative companies put their C-UAS solutions to the test in realistic operational scenarios – from detecting and tracking to identifying and neutralising Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). We were pleased to announce the winners at the EU Innovation Hub for Civil Security Annual Event on 19 November:
